I would become a southern campus Estate (one block from the cruise ship docks). It's classic food of Puerto Rico. Mid-range price. In this street there are many good restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe.
For lower prices, but good food, Mofongo is located directly on the cruise ship docks to the Sheraton.
Areas on the southern stronghold "famous" for its cuisine. If you opt for PR food is not authentic, more "inspired". Parrot Club is inspired by the food in the Caribbean PR. Very good.
Many people go to North Fort Barrachina.
There are many good restaurants in OSJ. How do you go to see the menus (all put out there) and find a good look and try it!

St Fortezela for the Parrot Club, Dragonfly, Tantra, Acquaviva,
or visit the tapas Hotel El Convent - there is also the sting Baru
If you have a chance to check one of the forts, the cathedral, the Puerta de San Juan, Paseo La Princesa.
